Bolognese sauce

Description

The Bolognese sauce is a traditional mixed minced meat sauce in the cuisine of Bologna. The sauce usually accompanies tagliatelle egg noodles (tagliatelle alla bolognese), but it is also used with other kinds of pasta such as lasagne, together with bechamel, and with a classic peasant dish of the past, polenta.
